AT MEGA-1
Portable Test Units

Microcontroller-based portable and semi-portable test units for 2-wheeler and automotive components. Purpose-built per DUT — compact, rugged, and production-ready. Operated by line technicians with no engineering involvement.

WHAT IS AT MEGA-1

Precision testing.
Without the rack.

AT MEGA-1 is Artemis's family of compact, purpose-built test units for automotive and 2-wheeler components that need production-line testing but don't require a full bench-top EOL station.

Each unit is microcontroller-based — designed for the specific DUT, built into a handheld or bench-top enclosure, operated with a simple PASS/FAIL LED or display, and priced for production-volume deployment. One tester per station. One operator action. Instant result.

These aren't development tools or lab instruments. They're production testers — designed for the floor, built to run 10,000 cycles without service, and maintained by technicians, not engineers.

When to choose AT MEGA-1 vs AT DAQ-S
  • AT MEGA-1: Single component, simple pass/fail, volume deployment, price-sensitive
  • AT DAQ-S: Multiple parameters, data logging, MES integration, full traceability

2-WHEELER

Side Stand Position Sensor Tester

What it tests

Switch closure confirmation, contact resistance, and response time of side stand sensors. Simulates the actual switching event mechanically via a test jig actuator.

Switch resistance <1 Ω Response time <5 ms LED PASS/FAIL Battery powered IP52 enclosure
2-WHEELER

Flasher Unit Tester

What it tests

Flash rate (pulses per minute), duty cycle, current draw, and load response of 2-wheeler flasher relays and electronic flasher units to IS 14682 / AIS 100 specification.

Flash rate: 60–120 PPM check Duty cycle verification Current measurement Simulated lamp load 7-segment display
2-WHEELER

Head Lamp Controller (HLC) Tester

What it tests

PWM output duty cycle, dimming curve verification, and current draw of HLC modules. Tests Hi/Lo beam switching response and auto-on function where applicable.

PWM duty cycle ±1% Hi/Lo beam switching Current draw measurement Simulated bulb load Bench-top format
2-WHEELER

Oil Level Sensor Tester

What it tests

Resistance output at specified float positions, switch-point verification, and insulation resistance of oil level sensors. Simulates full-range float movement via step-motor actuator.

Resistance accuracy ±0.5% Switch point ±2mm Insulation: >10 MΩ at 500V Motorised float simulation
AUTOMOTIVE

Harness Continuity Tester

What it tests

Point-to-point continuity, short circuit detection, and insulation resistance of wiring harnesses. Connector-specific DUT fixture. Tests up to 128 circuits per test cycle.

Up to 128 circuits Continuity: <2 Ω limit Short detection Insulation: 500V DC Custom connector fixture Cycle time: <10 s
ELECTRONICS

USB Type A & C Tester

What it tests

USB enumeration, charging specification verification (USB-PD for Type C), data transfer rate, and connector mechanical integrity. Tests both Type A and Type C in a single unit.

USB 2.0 / 3.0 enumeration USB-PD negotiation (Type C) 5V/9V/12V/20V PD check Data rate: USB 2.0 pass/fail Bench-top or panel mount

WHY AT MEGA-1

Purpose-built. Not adapted.

  • Built specifically for your DUT — connector, mechanical interface, test parameters, and pass/fail limits all matched to your component, not a generic instrument.
  • Operator-proof. One connection, one button. PASS in green, FAIL in red. No training required beyond initial induction.
  • Production-volume pricing. AT MEGA-1 units are designed to be deployed at every test station — not shared across the line.
  • 3–4 week delivery for standard variants. Faster than any bespoke instrument build — because the platform is already developed.
  • Rugged enough for the production floor. No rack required, no air conditioning required, no LabVIEW licence required.
  • Data-ready when you need it. Optional wireless data logging to a central database — integrated with your MES when the time comes.

Need a custom AT MEGA-1 variant?

If your component isn't on the standard list, we engineer to order. Typical custom variant: 5–7 weeks from DUT sample to delivered tester. We need:

  • DUT sample (1 unit minimum)
  • Test specification or parameter list
  • Connector drawing or pinout
  • Pass/fail limits per parameter
  • Required throughput (units/hour)
